International Rams! Japan Rams!

Updated: Sep 11, 2020

Hello to all my fellow Derby County fans! My name is Kazuki. Myself and four friends from the University in Hiroshima love football and we always play FIFA together. We went trip after graduating from university and one of our destinations was England. We searched football clubs around England and then we found Derby County by seeing the cute mascot in the emblem. Unfortunately we couldn’t watch Derby because of our itinerary and their match schedule. But we remember the team in our mind very much. When we get together, we talk about the team and so we decided to became part of The Rams about four years ago. We get a lot of our Derby information from YouTube, Twitter and official website.

I really enjoyed watching Mason Mount play for Derby last season, he was such a skillful player. Tom Lawrence is my current favorite player, his dribbles are amazing.

I like Phillip Cocu, I think he is a good coach. He understands the strategy of football. This past season, Derby unfortunately could not get promoted to the Premier League. It is hardly to say that this season is good for the team. It is the time that Derby County get promoted!

There is not much support for Derby here in Japan, but if Derby returns to the Premier League or a Japanese player joins the club, then the fans will definitely increase. We have the J-League here in Japan but Championship teams are definitely stronger. I think there are two Japanese players who might be able to make an impact at Derby, Yuto Nagatomo, is one of the most famous Japanese player ever. He was at Galatasaray last year and is now looking for his new team now. Also, Ryota Oshima in Kawasaki Flontale would be good, he is a midfielder and he's a very aggressive player.

I support another European team, Hamburger SV, currently in 2 Bundesliga.

I live in Tsu city. It’s central city of Mie pref in Japan. There are many rice fields here, the city is countryside and bayside (Ise-wan bay).
